Seven-month-old infant missing in Illawarra region since December 2024


An infant has been missing since December, prompting police to urgently seek public assistance.

Seven-month-old River Tille was last seen in the Warrawong area in the Illawarra region, south of Sydney last month.

Police were notified of his disappearance on Thursday when the baby boy couldn’t be found, and started an immediate search.

Police said they “hold serious concerns for River’s well-being due to his age”.

River is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, light-coloured hair, and unknown eye color.

His clothing at the time of his disappearance is also unknown.

Police believe River is with a 43-year-old woman described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, thin build, approximately 165cm tall, dyed orange hair (shaved on the right side and long on the left), and brown eyes.

Her clothing is also unknown.

Anyone with information about River’s whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
