Authorities were caught after the provider was pulled over on April 13 for an illegal U-turn and twice more the following week.

However, each time he handed over an expired French driving licence, which meant police had no idea they were dealing with a serial repeat offender until they checked transport to New South Wales.

His record is marked with hundreds of blemishes, including unpaid fines and driving a motorized scooter without a license.

He has now been ordered off the road and his behavior has been described as “appalling”.

Police are also investigating how he managed to remain undetected for so long.

He will appear at Burwood Local Court at the end of May.
